I have some awesome musician friends that brought these songs to life.
All the music was recorded at Jim & Salli Ratts ‘Raven Recording’ studio in Englewood, Colorado. In addition to being the producer, mix master & vocal track engineer, Jim also sings harmony on several songs.
Ernie Martinez is our master musician playing the electric/acoustic/steel guitar, dobro, mandolin, banjo, bass, & drums.
Mary Huckins (‘Dakota Blonde’) and Amy Nugent ('former Mrs Colorado') share their beautiful voices singing duet/harmony on several songs. Mary also sings lead vocals on ‘Sleigh Full of Love’ and Amy sings lead vocals on ‘Somebody Special’.
Rob Lowe, John Magnie and Ken Goodwin perform all the piano instrumentals with Gordon Burt getting down on the fiddle.
